Pseudognaphalium helleri (Britton) A. Anderberg. Common name: Heller's Rabbit-tobacco. Phenology: Sep-Oct. Habitat: Dry woodlands and openings (especially over mafic rocks), longleaf pine sandhills. Distribution: Sc. VA south to Panhandle FL, s. AL, west to AR, LA, and ne. TX.

Taxonomy Comments: We reject Freire et al.'s (2022) synonymization of "micradenium" and "helleri", as they provide no discussion or evidence for their decision.
