Pseudognaphalium micradenium (Weatherby) Nesom. Common name: Small Rabbit-tobacco, Delicate Rabbit-tobacco. Phenology: Sep-Oct. Habitat: Dry woodlands and openings. Distribution: Se. ME west to WI, south to e. SC, c. GA, se. TN, and s. MO.

Taxonomy Comments: Nesom (2001a) discusses the distinctiveness of this taxon and its treatment as a species, rather than variety. We reject Freire et al.'s (2022) synonymization of "micradenium" and "helleri", as they provide no discussion or evidence for their decision.
