Pseudognaphalium stramineum (Kunth) A. Anderberg. Common name: Cotton-batting Plant. Phenology: Late May-Aug (-Oct). Habitat: Sandy fields, roadsides, disturbed places. Distribution: Native of TX, NM, AZ, CA, OR, WA, and BC south through Mexico and into South America.
