Boehmeria Jacquin. Common name: Swamp-nettle.

Key to Boehmeria

A genus of about 50-80 species, trees, shrubs, and perennial herbs, of warm temperate, subtropical, and tropical regions of the Old World and New World. Wu et al. (2018) showed Boehmeria to be polyphyletic, with B. nivea likely to be separated from the genus.
