*Chionodoxa Boissier. Common name: Glory-of-the-snow.
A genus of 6 species, bulbous herbs, of e. Mediterranean. Chionodoxa is often included in Scilla, but Özüdoğru et al. (2022) provisionally supported the current circumscriptions of Scilla and related genera pending more extensive molecular investigations.
