*Chlorophytum Ker Gawler. Common name: Spider-plant.
A genus of 150-190 species, perennial herbs, of tropical and subtropical Africa and Asia.
ID notes: Characterized by possessing linear, arching leaves that grow in a rosette and produce long stolons that bear small, white, star-shaped flowers arranged in loose panicles. The stolons produce plantlets at the flowering nodes, which can root and form new plants.
