Citharexylum Linnaeus. Tribe: Citharexyleae. Common name: Fiddlewood.
A genus of about 130 species, trees and shrubs, of tropical and subtropical America from peninsular FL and s. TX south through West Indies, Mexico, and Central America to South America. Infrageneric classification follows Frost et al. (2021).
