Symphyotrichum chapmanii (Torrey & A. Gray) Semple & Brouillet. Common name: Chapman's Aster. Phenology: Late Apr-Jun. Habitat: Pine flatwoods and seepage bogs. Distribution: Endemic to Panhandle FL and s. AL; reports from Alachua County in the n. peninsula and St. Lucie County much farther south appear to be correctly identified.
