Echites P. Browne.

A genus of about 9-13 species, lianas, mainly West Indian (and Caribbean Mexico and Central America) (Lemke 2013m; Endress et al. 2018). If Allotoonia J.F. Morales & J.K. Williams is removed at generic rank, Echites is 5 species smaller.
