*Hyacinthoides Heister ex Fabricius. Common name: Bluebell.
A genus of ca. 10 species, herbs, of se. Europe and n. Africa. The narrow circumscription of Scilla (excluding Hyacinthoides) is supported by molecular phylogenetic studies (Pfosser et al. 2003).
