*Kalanchoe Adanson. Common name: Kalanchoë.
A genus of about 105 species, herbs and rarely shrubs, of s. Africa, Madagascar, s. Asia, and South America. Bryophyllum is sometimes separated at genus rank, but widespread hybridization seems to support an infrageneric rank of subgenus.
