*Tecomaria Spach. Common name: Cape-honeysuckle.

A genus of 2 species, shrubs, of s. Africa. Olmstead et al. (2009) separate Tecomaria from Tecoma on molecular grounds, which also correlate with biogeography, as Tecomaria is mostly closely related to other African genera, and its removal from Tecoma makes Tecoma strictly neotropical.
