Ximenia Linnaeus. Common name: Tallow-wood.

A genus of 8-10 species, hemiparasitic shrubs, tropical and subtropical in the Neotropics and Paleotropics. Ximenia is placed in the segregate family Ximeniaceae by Nickrent et al. (2010).
