*Lycoris radiata (L'Héritier) Herbert var. pumila C.H. Grey. Common name: Diploid Hurricane Lily. Phenology: Jul-early Aug. Habitat: Cultivated and persistent. Distribution: Native of China.

Origin/Endemic status: E., se., and s. Asia

Taxonomy Comments: This taxon is a fertile diploid, much less commonly cultivated in the southeastern United States.
