*Visnaga daucoides Gaertner. Bisnaga, Toothpick-plant. Phen: May-Jun. Hab: On ballast, presumably just a waif. Dist: Native of Mediterranean Europe. In our region, known from Philadelphia (PA), Wilmington (NC), Pensacola (FL), and Mobile (AL).

Origin/Endemic status: Mediterranean Europe and Africa
