not marked as a favorite taxon Juniperus pinchotii Sudworth. Common name: Redberry Juniper. Phenology: Sep-Oct. Habitat: Gravelly and sandy outcrops. Distribution: C. and w. Oklahoma south to c. Texas, s. Texas (Duval County), s. New Mexico to Mexico (Chihuahua, Coahuila, Durango, Nuevo León).
