Denisophytum R. Viguier. Subfamily: Caesalpinoideae. clade: Caesalpinoid clade.

A genus of 8 species, shrubs and small trees, of tropical America and Africa. Habitat: A genus of about 8-9 species, of Africa, South America, and the West Indies (including Florida) (Gagnon et al. 2016).
