*Bupleurum virgatum Cavanilles. Phenology: Apr-Jul (-Aug). Habitat: Disturbed areas over limestone. Distribution: Native of sw. Mediterranean Europe. Well-established in a few places in our region, over limestone, in w. VA and also reported for c. TN, as B. gerardii (Neves, Weakley, & Cox 2009).
