Neptunia plena (Linnaeus) Bentham. Common name: Water-dead-and-awake. Phenology: Aug-Oct (-Jul). Habitat: In shallow water; possibly merely adventive in our area. Distribution: S. TX south through Mexico and Central America to South America; West Indies.
Origin/Endemic status: Native
