Juniperus ovata (R.P. Adams) R.P. Adams. Section: Sabina. Common name: Adams Juniper, West Texan Ashe Juniper. Habitat: Limestone outcrops and calcareous gravels. Distribution: Primarily in w. TX and COA, but also apparently isolated near New Braunfels (Adams 2008d).
