Stapfochloa H. Scholz.
A genus of 6-7 species, perennial herbs, of the New World tropics and 1 species in Africa. The species placed here in Stapfochloa, following Peterson, Romaschenko, & Herrera Arrieta (2015) and Wipff & Shaw (2018a), have traditionally been included in Chloris, but form a clade sister to Cynodon.
