Greeneochloa P.M. Peterson, Soreng, Romaschenko, & Barberá. Common name: Reedgrass.
A genus of 2 species, perennial herbs, of e. and w. North America. "The two species of Greeneochloa form a clade within subtribe Echinopogoninae which is sister to subtribe Calothecinae plus Calamagrostis s.s. (subtribe Agrostidinae Fr.) all in supersubtrib. Agrostidodinae Soreng" (Peterson et al. 2019b).
