Suaeda nigra (Rafinesque) J.F. Macbride. Common name: Shrubby Seepweed, Quelite Salado. Phenology: May-Sep. Habitat: Saline and alkaline areas. Distribution: ND, SK, AB, and WA south to se. TX, NM, AZ, CA, and c. Mexico.
