*Gibasis pellucida (M. Martens & Galeotti) D.R. Hunt. Dotted Bridalveil, Tahitian Bridalveil. Phen: Apr-Oct. Hab: Disturbed areas, invasive in peninsular FL and beginning to be seen establishing elsewhere in the deep South, as in Houston County, AL (Barger et al. 2023). Dist: Native of Mexico (contrary to one of the common names).

Origin/Endemic status: Mexico

Synonymy : = FNA22, K4, Meso6, WH3; = Gibasis schiedeana (Kunth) D.R.Hunt; = Tradescantia pellucida M.Martens & Galeotti
