Eupatorium ×truncatum Muhlenberg ex Willdenow. Common name: Truncate Eupatorium. Phenology: Aug-Oct. Habitat: Moist, open areas, ditches, roadsides. Distribution: NY, MI, and IA, south to NC, AL, MS, and w. LA.

Taxonomy Comments: A hybrid of E. perfoliatum and E. serotinum. It is unclear the degree to which this hybrid reproduces independently and occurs independently of one or both parents, though McKain, Chapman, & Ingram (2010) found only F1 hybrids in their sampling.
