Peperomia humilis (Vahl) A. Dietrich var. humilis . Common name: Low Peperomia. Phenology: Jan-Dec. Habitat: Primarily epiphytic in strand swamps. Distribution: S. FL (Miami-Dade, Monroe, and Collier counties), FL; West Indies. Sometimes (and erroneously) considered introduced in FL.
