Ammannia auriculata Willdenow. Common name: Eared Redstem. Phenology: May-Jul (-Oct). Habitat: Swamps, ditches, other wetlands. Distribution: MS, LA, SD, NM, and AZ, south to TX, Mexico, Central America, and n. South America. Perhaps only native in the Old World.
