Panicum gouinii E. Fournier. Common name: Torpedo Grass. Phenology: May-Oct. Habitat: Shores. Distribution: Al west to Louisiana, south to e. MX and Central America; disjunct in s. Brazil and Argentina.

Taxonomy Comments: Panicum sensu stricto. Viewed by some authors as P. repens with dense panicles and subacute lower glumes (Freckman and Lelong 2003c).
