*Hypericum calycinum Linnaeus. Section: Ascyreia. Common name: Aaron’s-beard. Habitat: Disturbed areas, persistent and rarely naturalized from plantings. Distribution: Native of se. Europe and Asia Minor. Naturalized in Knox County, TN (D. Estes, pers. comm., 2012).

Origin/Endemic status: Mediterranean Europe and Africa

Synonymy : = Can, FNA6, K4, NS, POWO, Robson (2006), not formally treated. Basionym: Hypericum calycinum L. 1767
