Tragia betonicifolia Nuttall. Common name: Betony Noseburn. Phenology: May-Sep. Habitat: Glades and dry bluffs, prairies, dry, sandy woodlands. Distribution: MO and KS south to w. LA and TX; disjunct eastward in KY, TN, and possibly AL (and apparently introduced in VA).
