Dicerandra fumella R.B. Huck. Common name: Smoky Balm, Alabama Balm. Phenology: Mid Sep-late Nov. Habitat: Sandhills and dry sandy hammocks. Distribution: Panhandle of FL west to s. AL.

Taxonomy Comments: A hexaploid species.
