Amyris elemifera Linnaeus. Common name: Smooth Torchwood, Sea Amyris, Sea Torchwood, Common Torchwood, Candlewood, Cuabilla. Phenology: Jan-Dec. Habitat: Rockland hammocks, coastal hammocks. Distribution: East coast of the FL peninsula (Flagler County southwards); West Indies; s. Mexico (CAM, CHP, ROO, VER, YUC) and Central America (Belize).
