Oenothera patriciae W.L. Wagner & Hoch. Common name: Plains Gaura. Phenology: Mar-May (-Jun). Habitat: Sandy open areas. Distribution: OK south through w. LA, e. TX, and c. TX; historically eastwards in MS, perhaps only as a waif.
