not marked as a favorite taxon Yucca constricta Buckley. Common name: Buckley's Yucca. Phenology: Apr-Jun. Habitat: Limestone outcrops, granitic soils, openings in shrublands, and rocky prairies. Distribution: TX (and perhaps Mexico).

ID notes: This species often becomes caulescent to 1.5 m tall, especially on granitic soils.
