Juniperus horizontalis Moench. Section: Sabina. Common name: Creeping Juniper. Habitat: Sand dunes. Distribution: NL west to AK, south to NY, n. OH, nw. IN, IL, IA, NE, WY, MT, and BC. A record from Long Island appears to be a false report.
