Taxodium mucronatum Tenore. Common name: Montezuma Bald-cypress, Mexican Bald-cypress, Ahuehuete, Sabino. Phenology: Feb. Habitat: Riverbanks of the Rio Grande River, streams, and resacas. Distribution: S. TX (perhaps as far north as San Antonio) south to s. Mexico.
