Froelichia texana J.M. Coulter & Fisher. Common name: Texas Snake-cotton. Habitat: Oak mottes, sandy prairies. Distribution: TX south to TAM and NLE.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Synonymy : = FNA4, S13, McCauley (2004); = Froelichia interrupta (L.) Moq. var. cordata Uline & Bray — K4; < Froelichia interrupta (L.) Moq. — Mex, Tx, misapplied. Basionym: Froelichia texana J.M.Coult. & Fisher 1892
