Leucothrinax morrisii (H. Wendland) C. Lewis & Zona. Common name: Brittle Thatch-palm, Key Thatch-palm. Phenology: May-Jul. Habitat: Hammocks, pine rocklands (where abundant on Big Pine Key). Distribution: FL keys; West Indies.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Taxonomy Comments: Hybridizes on Big Pine Key with Coccothrinax.
