not marked as a favorite taxon Artemisia mexicana Willdenow ex Sprengel. Common name: White Sagebrush, Silver Wormwood. Phenology: Jun-Nov. Habitat: Prairies, forest openings, disturbed areas. Distribution: Missouri, Nebraska, Colorado, Utah, and California south to Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and Mexico. Reported for c. Tennessee (Kartesz 2015).
