Chaptalia albicans (Swartz) Ventenat ex B.D. Jackson. Common name: White Sunbonnets. Phenology: (Mar-) Apr-Jul (-Nov). Habitat: Pine rocklands, marl prairies. Distribution: S. FL; West Indies; Mexico (CAM, CHP, ROO, SLP, VER, YUC) and Central America.
ID notes: The leaf margins are often lobed and undulate towards the base.
