Croptilon hookerianum (Torrey & A. Gray) House var. hookerianum . Common name: Hooker's Scratchdaisy. Phenology: Jul-Oct. Habitat: Sands and other open areas. Distribution: C. and e. TX south to s. TX; disjunct in MS (J. Kees, pers.comm., 2022).
