not marked as a favorite taxon Croptilon hookerianum (Torrey & A. Gray) House var. hookerianum. Common name: Hooker's Scratchdaisy. Phenology: Jul-Oct. Habitat: Sands and other open areas. Distribution: C. and e. Texas south to s. Texas; disjunct in Mississippi (J. Kees, pers.comm., 2022).
