Dichaetophora campestris A. Gray. Common name: Plains-daisy. Phenology: (Feb-) Mar-Apr. Habitat: Sandy soils, mesquite savannas. Distribution: S. TX and n. Mexico (CHH, COA, NLE).

ID notes: Differing from Astranthium integrifolium by the winglike margins of its cypselae.

Origin/Endemic status: Native
