Palafoxia hookeriana Torrey & A. Gray var. minor Shinners. Common name: Carrizo Palafox. Phenology: Sep-Oct. Habitat: Xeric oak and oak-pine woodlands, mainly or entirely on the Carrizo sands. Distribution: Endemic to the TX Coastal Plain (Carrizo sands area).
