Varronia bahamensis (Urban) Millspaugh. Common name: Bahama Manjack, Cocobey. Phenology: Jan-Dec. Habitat: Pine rocklands. Distribution: S. peninsular FL (Miami-Dade County); Bahamas.
Origin/Endemic status: Native
Other Comments: This species was first discovered in FL in 1979, at a site where it was then apparently destroyed (Gann, Bradley, & Woodmansee 2002). It was found again in 2021 at a different location.
