not marked as a favorite taxon Catopsis floribunda L.B. Smith. Common name: Many-flowered Strap-airplant, Florida Strap-airplant. Phenology: Apr-Aug. Habitat: Epiphytic on trees in tropical hammocks. Distribution: S. peninsular Florida; West Indies; Mexico (Oaxaca, Tabasco, Veracruz, Yucatán), Central America, and n. South America.
