Atriplex acanthocarpa (Torrey) S. Watson var. coahuilensis (Henrickson) S.L. Welsh & Crompton. Subgenus: Pterochiton. Common name: Coahuila Saltbush, Armed Saltbush, Huaha. Phenology: Jun-Oct. Habitat: Alkaline soils. Distribution: S. TX south into Mexico.
