Ephedra antisyphilitica Berlandier ex C.A. Meyer. Common name: Tepopote, Popote, Cañatilla. Phenology: Nov-Mar. Habitat: Gravelly or rocky areas, arroyos, ravines. Distribution: OK south through ec. TX and w. TX to Mexico.

Origin/Endemic status: Native
