Cnidoscolus texanus (Müller of Aargau) Small. Common name: Texas Bull-nettle, Mala Mujer. Phenology: Apr-Jul (-Nov). Habitat: Longleaf pine sandhills, sandy open areas, other dry woodlands. Distribution: AR and OK south to sw. LA, TX, and ne. Mexico (NLE, TAM).

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Synonymy : = Ar, FNA12, GrPl, K4, Mex, NcTx, S13, Tx, Maya-Lastra & Steinmann (2018). Basionym: Jatropha texana Müll.Arg. 1865
