Euphorbia helleri Millspaugh. Subgenus: Esula. Section: Tithymalus. Common name: Heller's Spurge. Phenology: Feb-Mar. Habitat: In clay loams and calcareous soils near the coast. Distribution: S. TX south to ne. Mexico (Coahuila, Nuevo León, Tamaulipas). Apparently introduced in Louisiana (Riina et al. 2016).
