not marked as a favorite taxon Mimosa malacophylla A. Gray. Common name: Raspilla, Vine Mimosa. Phenology: Apr-Nov; Apr-Dec. Habitat: Thickets, washes, caliche ridges, shrub thickets, tropical woodlands. Distribution: C. Texas (Hays Co.) and s. Texas south to n. Mexico (Coahuila, Nuevo León, Tamaulipas).
